The United States has so many amazing places to visit, and it is a constant tourist destination for travellers from across the globe. The tourist industry is a large part of what makes America an attractive place for people outside of this country. With many amazing national parks, incredible vistas and man-made attractions, this country continues to attract visitors year after year. Travel guides in the USA help pinpoint some amazing locales to visit and explore. One of the most popular sites to visit in the entire United States, and for that matter, the world, is the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. The Grand Canyon is directly the result of erosion of layers and layers of sedimentary rock over thousands of years. The Colorado River played a crucial role in the carving of these canyons, and continues to widen and erode them continually as the years pass by. Other Travel guides in the USA will pinpoint to various beautiful places such as the Rocky Mountains. With beautiful stretches of forests coupled together with miles of massive mountains, it is another naturally beautiful place that exceeds all expectations. A fantastic visit for nature lovers and those who love to camp, the stretch of the Rock Mountains has proved to be a strong tourist attraction. However, one of the most popular destinations that Travel guides in the USA will recommend is Walt Disney World in Florida. For the last several generations, the theme park has thrilled visitors with varieties of rides and forms of entertainment directly relating to the characters created by Walt Disney. The Magic Kingdom continues to be the most popular as it opened first and provides classic rides such as the Runaway Train, Space Mountain and the Carousel of Progress. Epcot is also part of Walt Disney World and provides fascinating rides as well as representing different countries from around the world and their cultures. Altogether, if you are planning a vacation or looking for a great destination to visit within the United States, Travel guides in the USA are a great way to plan and prepare with.

CASE PAGE: ij.org PHILLY CITY STUDY: ij.org ALL THINGS CONSIDERED ~ NPR: n.pr MARKETPLACE ~ AMERICAN PUBLIC RADIO: bit.ly WALL STREET JOURNAL: on.wsj.com Tait v. City of Philadelphia In 2008 the city of Philadelphia passed a law making it illegal to give a tour of the city without first passing a test and obtaining a special government license. The Institute for Justice filed a constitutional challenge to that law because the First Amendment protects your right to communicate for a living, and that’s true whether you’re a journalist or a stand up comedian or a tour guide. In 2009, though, the city asked a federal district judge to dismiss that case without considering the constitutional argument because it said it didn’t have the money allocated in its budget to start enforcing the law right then. The law was important and they intended to enforce it, they just hadn’t allocated the money to enforce it immediately. And that’s why on Tuesday January 11, 2011, we’ll be having an argument in the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia, making the simple point that the city’s budget priorities cannot trump the Constitution. Government officials simply can’t be allowed to hide in the bushes until they feel like jumping out and taking away your rights. Philadelphia’s tour guides have the right to speak freely without having to worry whether the city is going to start enforcing its licensing requirement in six weeks, six months or a year. And that’s why the Institute for

An American tourist’s independent tour of North Korea in May 2010. This is 2 of 4 Videos total, for almost 5 hrs of footage. North Korea allows a 21st Century visitor to time travel back to China during the Cultural Revolution or to Russia during Stalin. I recommend a visit there to see this bizarre country: it’s open to almost everyone and is extremely safe for tourists. The tour Company I used is Young Pioneer Tours. They are not very organized but do offer younger, smaller group sizes which I like. If you are more risk adverse and prefer a well-run, stress free tour company, and can live with an older, larger group size, Koyro Tours, a British owned tour company based in Beijing, is highly recommended and they do a great job. A big disclaimer with these videos: I went as a tourist and this is a propaganda tour. This is not representative of most of North Korea. This is their Disney World I saw: look for real hidden video that is smuggled out of the country before drawing any conclusions. 4/30/2010 Set off from Beijing Train Station to Dandong, China. Train passage to North Korea is the best way to see the countryside and get to know some elite North Korean passengers, without your Govt. minders present. Americans have to fly into the capitol however (unless you have dual citizenship). 4/31/2010 Arrive in Pyongyang by train. Meet with Government Minders who serve as the tour guides (two of them) and who rarely leave your side. There is also a separate driver. Drive to
